Some photographs of a pedestrian bridge near junction 3 of the M67 in Hyde, Greater Manchester.
The photographs were taken after I discovered the bridge while walking westward along Hoviley Commercial Street having decided on a whim to make my way into Hyde from Newton For Hyde station on the Manchester - Glossop line rather than my usual Hyde Central station on the Romiley - Guide Bridge branch of the Hope Valley Line.
Here's a link to an aerial photograph of the bridge which shows the long curving climb you have to make from the north side of the motorway to cross: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&ll=53.452915,-2.07559&spn=0.001108,0.003449&vpsrc=6&t=k&z=18
